Jarrow Formulas, from Los Angeles since 1977

Jarrow Formulas was founded in Los Angeles in 1977, when orders were delivered in person to the city's health food stores. In 2000 the brand opened a manufacturing facility with an analytical laboratory in Santa Fe Springs, California. Since 2020 the company has been owned by New Mountain Capital, and since 2021 it has partnered with Natrol, another brand you will find at Citymuscle.

The Jarrow Formulas range at Citymuscle

Among the vitamins you will find K2 as MK-7 at 90 and 180 mcg and methyl folate in Other Vitamins, B-Right and biotin in Vitamin B, D3 and K-Right in Vitamin D.

Hyaluronic acid and type II collagen in Cartilage, EPA-DHA Balance in Omega 3 and Fish Oil, Zinc Balance in Zinc, Curcumin 95 in Digestive Support and D-ribose powder in Other Energetics complete the range.

How to choose a Jarrow Formulas product

Check the form and the amount per capsule: ubiquinol is the reduced form of coenzyme Q10, ubiquinone the oxidised one, and vitamin K2 MK-7 is dosed in micrograms. Many products come in several sizes, from 30 to 240 capsules: compare the cost per serving, not per pack. Compare products on the grams of each ingredient per serving, not on the weight of the pack, and always follow the daily dose stated on the label: a supplement is no substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
